From the beginning of November through January, I attended the computer courses offered at the Lauderdale By The Sea Senior Center. The computer courses taught by Mr. Armilio Bien-Aime are by far the best I ever took, which included CompUsa at substantial cost, and the Community College at Pompano.

Mr.Bien-Aime is:

  • thoroughly familiar with the subject matter

  • a gifted communicator

  • obviously determined to perform a useful function

  • endowed with a refreshing sense of humor and contagious enthusiasm.

I hope you will continue these socially enriching activities and that Mr. Bien-Aime will be persuaded to continue giving courses at the Center.
Sincerely,
Guy

Hi Armilio:

Hi

Thank you again for your excellent help last week.
I repeat: you teach a complex subject
in a way that makes it understandable.
Thanks again,
Bev/Mike
p.s. I love this site!

I am back in Quebec and I want to tell you again how much I learned from your tutoring at the Senior Club of Laud by the Sea. When I came back home, I realized that I had lost my apprehension of messing up my computer and I am becoming so very brave now. Would you believe that I am now tutoring two friends who just got setup with a computer and I keep telling them that before I was in your class, I did not know all the information I am now able to supply.
So, many, many thanks and I hope that you are still there when I get back in November, I still have so very much to learn.
My best regards to you and hope you have a nice summer.
Jocelyne

I have been taking computer classes for some time and know how very lucky we are to have such a wonderful teacher. Armilio Bien-Aime is so very knowledgeable and has such a wonderful way of teaching so every can understand. There is so much enthusiasm and real excitement in  learning more about the computer. Each time I go I come away with more knowledge that is very helpful to me. Before these classes, I had no idea of how much the computer could do. His class on greeting cards has given me much pleasure in knowing how to make cards. My husband thinks I am going to put Hallmark out of business.
Thank you for this wonderful service.
Sincerely,
Alice

I would like to congratulate the city of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea for having the foresight and wisdom to offer computer classes to the public free of charge.  This has proven to be a significant service to myself and to everyone I have met at the classes.

Armilio Bien-Aime is a fine teacher.  I have had many teachers in my lifetime and he would rank in the top ten.

I hope that this letter encourages the city to continue this service to the public.

 Sincerely Yours,

 Robert Bronfman, MD
